For several years now CIAL has been working with some Onlus organisations (Italian non-profit organisations with a social purpose) to create works of art and monuments made entirely with used aluminium cans.
In particular, the Bergamo, Brescia and Verona sections of the Aido and Avis associations are the most active on this front.
Over the years they built models of Italy’s most famous monuments, as well as the most famous aluminium items on a “giant” scale.
For CIAL these experiences are an easy tool to make a wider public aware of the environmental message linked to aluminium recycling.
For the Onlus organisations they are another way to raise funds and finance their activities.
